Integrated Alignment

Integrated Alignment refers to the integration of essential systems and processes that respond to change in the external environment. It’s focus is on the customer and is market driven. However, no organization can stay in a state of alignment forever since almost all organizations live in the state of change. The change can be constant or it can come in waves. We at The Quantum Group believe that the real power of alignment comes when we view it as a set of actions. These actions represent the new management competence of Strategic Listening, Thinking, Planning, Communicating and Learning.

This enables managers along with everyone within the
organization to:

1. Connect all employees' behavior to the vision of the organization and turn their intentions into actions.
2. Link team and processes to the changing needs of the customers.
3. Shape business/organization strategy with real-time information from its customers.
4. Create a culture in which these elements all work together seamlessly.
5. Allow the organization to run itself with an "Open Book".

The major components of Integrated Alignment

The organization:

1.Carefully designs and articulates the essence of their business using the past, present and future.
2. Defines the critical strategic goals and imperatives and deploys them throughout the organization.
3. Ties performance measures and metrics to those goals.

4. Links these measures to a system of reward and recognition.
5. Personally reviews, at all levels, the performance of people to ensure goals are achieved and realized.

While these activities seem overly simple, they are hard to implement and even more difficult to sustain!

As a parting comment we use the words of an ancient philosopher –

"Declare the past, Diagnose the present, Define the future"
